The Quality Integration project has made it possible to achieve traceability both inside the company, linking Feralpi Group‘s different production facilities, from the steel mill to the rolling mill, and outside, gathering information from suppliers and customers.
To do this, it was necessary to collect and rationalize data from the different company information systems and from the field via sensors, and then to build a Cloud platform that would allow all the actors in the process to cross-analyze the information and give rise to real time monitoring of continuous casting.
