Settlement Management, what is it all about?

Settlement Management is one of the functionalities of the SAP S/4HANAERP, which enables automatic, integrated and transparent management of bonuses, commissions and royalties in the order to cash (the set of activities related to the customer cycle) and procure to pay (the flow of a company’s activities from purchase from the supplier to payment of the associated invoice) scenarios.

This function involves the use of condition contracts, agreements between suppliers, customers, and agents in which the requirements for attaining an award and how it is to be calculated and disbursed are defined.



The Settlement Management feature enables you to quickly and efficiently manage all business contracts that include a variable component with customers, suppliers and agents, thereby reducing manual user activity and the associated margin for error.
