Regesta Golf Club Verona Trophy

Surrounded by the greenery of one of the most interesting golf courses in northern Italy, the 5th edition of the “Regesta Trophy” will be held; on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the Verona Golf Club, Regesta’s friends and golfing clients will compete around 18 holes.

A hilly course with elevated greens that test turf lovers by engaging them in a circuit that requires a good deal of concentration; nine short holes and as many very long and wide ones must be played for a course record achieved by Jasper Parnevik with 65 strokes a few years ago. The playing format for the traditional Regesta-branded end-of-summer competition is the “Stableford” 3rd category, on a course where several editions of the Italian championship have taken place.

With a competitive spirit, a great desire to spend a day in the open air and with a desire to have fun, along with three Regesta members will measure themselves against sympathizers of one of the most beloved sports in Italy. For the second year in a row, the Verona Golf Club will host the golf competition, which this year is embellished with some prizes provided by theGiustacchini Office Store in Brescia: nice gadgets that will make the competition more fierce.

The Verona circuit is one of the most innovative in the area of soil conservation: the goal is the least possible impact on the beautiful surrounding area, characterized by long rows of vineyards and rolling hills. The Golf Club has joined a voluntary environmental certification management called Committed to Green, a European proposition supported by the Italian Golf Federation. Fourteen nations participate in the program with the aim of applying the guidelines of an environmental policy that pursues criteria of eco-compatibility, with a particular focus on sustainable water management.
