Regesta and Bresciamobilità
Regesta wins the three-year tender for the provision of corrective maintenance, evolutionary maintenance and specialized support services in SAP for the Bresciamobilità group.
Brescia Mobilità SpA is the company of the Municipality of Brescia established on December 28, 2001, with the split from the original strain of ASM Brescia SpA to implement and manage in an integrated form, in accordance with the guidelines of the Administration, mobility and travel within the ‘urban area with the aim of improving the livability of the area, reducing road congestion and promoting ecological and eco-friendly solutions.
Recently reorganized, Brescia Mobility SpA oversees the different areas of mobility directly and through its subsidiaries:
- directly deals with facility parking, parking meters, bicycles, ztl, traffic light and traffic control systems, cameras, electrical and photovoltaic systems;
- Brescia Trasporti SpA (a wholly owned subsidiary of Brescia Mobility) manages public road transport in the City of Brescia and its 14 neighboring municipalities;
- Metro Brescia Srl operates Brescia’s automatic light rail;
Regesta will therefore continue the collaboration begun in 2011 that saw it alongside Bresciamobilità in the management and implementation of the SAP information system in the various companies belonging to the group.
The next three years will be an important opportunity to continue on the path taken with the goal of making many of the group’s operational processes more efficient through technological leverage.
