The Group
Metalfer is Europe’s leading group for the production of.ion of drawn, cut and rolled drawn tubes. The group consists of five companies divided into two divisions, the drawn tubes division with a production capacity of 110,000 tons per year, the cut tubes division with a capacity of 60 million pieces per year, and the division of drawn rolled tubes with a capacity of 20,000 tons per year.
The drawn wire division has three plants, the Roè Volciano headquarters, the Corbetta (MI) plant and the Indaiatuba plant in Brazil. The cut pipe division has four plants, one in Avigliana (TO), one in Poland (Bielsko-Biala), one in Morocco (Tangier) and one in Brazil (Indaiatuba). The rolled tube division is concentrated in the Corbetta (MI) plant.
The main areas of application for the tubes produced by Metalfer areautomotive, cylinders and industrial applications.
Always committed to innovation and high quality standards, it has chosen to implement the new management software on the Arvedi Group system to optimize processes and integrate the group supply chain.
The project
The project is named Ulysses – Discover Innovation, a title chosen in collaboration between Metalfer and Regesta.
Ulysses is meant to be a metaphor for the journey of Trasformazione Digitale with Regesta; a journey, as enunciated within the payoff, to discover innovation.
The goal? To be asmart enterprise.
