Regesta in collaboration with Villa Mazzucchelli presents a concert by Mexican violist Adolfo Alejo:

Adolfo Alejo has been playing the viola since the age of 11. he is a 3-time recipient of the National Violin Award “Hermilio Novelo” as best performer, and came 1st in NYU’s string quartet competion. Alejo studied with Rita Porfiris and Roberto Diaz. He has played as soloist in the UAEH orchestras, Orquesta de Cámara de Bellas Artes, Camerata de Coahuila, Concertistas de Morelos, Kalisz Philharmonic, Bydogostienis Philharmonic, Orquesta Sinfonica de Michoacan, Idee Fixe, Orquesta de Cámara de Morelos, Festival Viva Vivaldi, Voronezh Symphony Orchestra, Dnipropetrovsk Philharmonic, Opole Philharmonic, Gaia Festival Orchestra. As a lecturer he has given lectio magistrali in many countries including Spain, Portugal, Poland, Mexico. He has collaborated over the years with Jan Latham Koenig, Jose Luis Castillo, Rafael Delekta, Jan Milosz Zarzycki, Alun Francis, Yoav Talmi and many others. He is currently the president of the “Concertistas de Morelos AC,” artistic director of the Eternal Spring Music Festival, advisor of Eduardo Ocon´s program and member of the UNAM Philharmonic.
