Driving the digital transformation of a large industrial reality means, first of all, knowing how to govern the complexity.
This is the path taken by the Vender Group, an international benchmark in stainless steel processing and distribution (850 million euros in sales and 900 employees), which chose Regesta Group, in collaboration with Clarex, to redesign its global IT architecture.

The central need was clear: overcome the fragmentation of legacy systems to unify processes, branches and operational flows into a single digital ecosystem based on SAP S/4HANA.
As highlighted by Giuseppe Ciacci, COO of Acciai Vender, the heart of the project was the modern evolution of historically established business flows and logic, leveraging the robustness and flexibility of the SAP platform.
A strategic roll-out across 19 Group companies
The project, which began in 2022, includes a phased implementation plan involving all 19 group companies. Leveraging Regesta Group’s deep specialization in the Metal vertical, the new infrastructure brings immediate benefits on three strategic assets:
- data-driven decisions: centralization of information to provide management with an unambiguous, consistent, real-time view of global business performance;
- Advanced logistics and traceability: native integration between SAP ERP and automated warehouses, optimizing material handling and ensuring total lot control throughout the supply chain;
- commercial speed: The adoption of the product configurator has optimized bid processing time, making the sales area fully connected with planning and production.
This digitalization path now allows theVender Group to move in the global market with greater transparency, responsiveness and operational control.
