On Thursday, November 20, we took the stage at SAP NOW 2022, alongside Arved Steelworksi, to celebrate the winning the SAP Quality Awards in the “Rapid time to value” category.

This is an award designed to recognize customers who have excelled in implementing SAP solutions in the following areas:

  • Rapid Time to Value – quick and efficient projects
  • Digital Pioneer – projects with innovative content
  • Business Transformation – business transformation and redesign projects

The Acciaieria Arvedi BI project aimed to develop a Cloud-based Enterprise DataWarehouse and related management reporting.

SAP DataWarehouse Cloud (DWC) for the DataWarehouse and SAP Business Objects (BO) suite for the Front End were adopted as development tools.

The development of the DataWarehouse has made it possible to define a certified and validated enterprise database, automating all those manual Data Export processes that are time consuming for users and often cause misalignment with the SAP data source.

The organization of work is designed and organized to achieve the best results in terms of speed and quality of development:

  • the BI team and functional teams worked synergistically throughout the project, coordinating weekly.
  • the client has been involved in bi-weekly meetings to directly follow up and validate gradual releases from an Agile perspective.
