Last Friday, April 13, a press conference was held in the presence of Brescia Mayor Emilio Del Bono to jointly announce that Regesta is changing its headquarters and investing in Brescia!

Thanks to the opportunities offered by digital innovation and despite the unfavorable economic situation in recent years, Regesta’s turnover has always been growing at a sustained rate (+20% turnover in 2017).

As of today, the Regesta group has about 100 employees and collaborators. As many as 13 hires have been made since the beginning of the year (there were 12 in 2017).

The average age is very low (35 years), with a good female presence (35%) also growing. 74% of the resources are university graduates, and of these as many as 54 people graduated from the University of Brescia.

Regesta’s motivations for seeking a new location were:

  • vitality and strong growth, linked to the goal of establishing itself more and more as a leading company in the SAP market in northern Italy
  • The desire to always improve, making the atmosphere and work environment as pleasant as possible for the Regesta team
  • The willingness to take the arrangement of the various departments Regesta (ERP), Themis (Business Intelligence) and Enterprise (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) to a higher level in order to promote their mutual contamination and fruitful integration
  • the desire to never lose the creative vein, increasing the spaces to be dedicated to initiatives (work and non-work) aimed at increasing the well-being of the whole group and the usability of the different environments by all our collaborators

After careful evaluation, Regesta chose the Panigada Street property as its future headquarters because it felt it could fully meet its needs.

The fact that municipality of Brescia has planned to invest about 50 million euros in the redevelopment of the “Milan sector” over the next few years makes this operation even more fascinating and challenging.

In fact, a new theater (Ideal) with a 20-meter tower, a new square right next to the office (Civic 140), bike paths, a center with outpatient clinics, three European-scale train stations on the Brescia-Iseo line, a multipurpose complex with a library and skatepark, lots of private housing at reduced rents, widespread video surveillance, and fiber optics throughout the neighborhood will be built.

Regesta is grateful to the Brescia area from which it inherited its indomitable love of challenges and, proudly, continues to contribute to the creation of value that is shared with all of Brescia, Lombardy and Italian soil.
